 Welcome to my

Psychotherapy Practice

I provide confidential, professional counseling and psychotherapy in Hinsdale, IL and the surrounding western suburbs of Chicago.

Why Therapy?

You may be struggling with any number of difficulties: depression, anxiety, worry, or self-doubt.

Perhaps you feel personally or professionally stuck?

Do you have relationship difficulties?

Do you sabotage or undermine yourself?

Do you often feel sad, hopeless, or anxious?

Do you feel guilty but don't know why?

Finding a therapist who is a good match is important.

My approach is to offer an empathic therapeutic relationship that considers and listens to you as a unique and whole person; not merely a set of symptoms to be "cured".

As such, I work collaboratively with you to help you overcome troublesome feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, so that you may live a more free, satisfying, and productive life.

Does talking really help?

Yes.

Speaking regularly with someone who has the training, skills, and experience necessary to listen and understand you in a way that is different from everyday relationships can be immensely helpful.

Psychotherapy can help you:

  • gain insight and self-acceptance
  • communicate effectively
  • reduce anxiety
  • discard old habits that no longer work
  • stop undermining yourself
  • become less critical
  • stop repeating the past
  • improve personal and professional satisfaction

It can help you identify ways in which you are, perhaps unconsciously, contributing to your own difficulties, as well as help you

understand and accept those aspects of life that are out of your control.

Psychotherapy can help resolve, or effectively minimize, those feelings, thoughts and behaviors that trouble you.
